is a collection point of the Bridgwater and District Credit Union, which
we host in conjunction with the Church Coffee Morning A Credit Union, for those who are unfamiliar with the term, is a mutual society owned and controlled by its members. It encourages thrift and systematic saving. It also offers affordable loans as an alternative to doorstep lenders, which tend to target low income families and those who have problems getting credit from other sources and can as a result charge crippling interest rates. |
